At Christian Charismatic Church, the following statements summarize the core doctrines that guide our teaching, worship, and ministry.
We Believe
...the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It reveals God’s will for humanity and is the final authority for faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
...there is one true and living God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of heaven and earth and is perfect in holiness, love, power, and wisdom.
...Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for the sins of the world, and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will return in power and glory.
...Salvation is a gift of God’s grace received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through His sacrifice, we receive forgiveness of sins, spiritual renewal, and eternal life.
...the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, guiding, teaching, and empowering them to live a victorious Christian life. The Holy Spirit produces spiritual fruit in believers and equips them for service in God’s kingdom.
...in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct and powerful experience for believers that empowers them for bold witness, ministry, and spiritual effectiveness. This experience is often accompanied by spiritual gifts such as speaking in tongues and prophetic expression.
...the gifts of the Holy Spirit described in the Bible are active and available today. These gifts include wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discernment of spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues. These gifts are given to build up the church and glorify God.
...Jesus Christ still heals today. Healing for the body, mind, and spirit is provided through the redemptive work of Christ and is received through faith and prayer.
...the Church is the body of Christ and a community of believers called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and demonstrate God’s love to the world.
...in water baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ. We observe the Lord’s Supper as a sacred remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice.
...believers are called to live holy, Spirit-led lives that reflect the character of Christ. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we pursue righteousness, love, humility, and obedience to God’s Word.
...Jesus Christ will return in glory to establish His kingdom. Believers will experience eternal life with God, and God will bring final justice and restoration to all creation.
